Decline in GDP in Russia is lower than expected

Russia's gross domestic product has declined in recent years, according to preliminary data, the authorities increased by 7.9 percent. The original forecast had envisaged 8.5 percent.This was announced by the Russian Statistics Office Rosstat reported on Monday.The message, according to the gross domestic product last year had amounted to more than 39 billion rubles from 92.1 percent as of 2008.

Hardest hit were the field of services. In the areas of state administration, military and social care on the other hand a growth of 3.2 percent was recorded.
